This is exactlyAs in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, it also has a darker gritty reboot. Which I actually enjoyed, was a little disappointed in the last season though. It got canceled, and the last season suffers from incomplete plot lines.

Is this the one that was just on and ended up being affected by the covid lockdowns and such? There were a few shows that seemed really incomplete during that time - "Let's jam stuff that we've already shot (but not finished production and editing processes on) together to pretend to wrap up the season in a way that sort of makes sense and hope for the best next season, when it's time to start shooting film again"
This is exactlyYes, it was one of the shows affected by the covid outbreak. So it suffered from being canceled and from covid. There were clearly more they wanted to do but just wouldn't ever get a chance to do.

It was interesting seeing them try to make sense with what they had, where they wanted to go, etc., in terms of material that was already shot, planned storylines, etc.

I haven't been keeping an eye out for them to start back up necessarily, but yes, we were watching Carnival Row and Lucifer too. I'd like to see how the storylines progress... IF they progress at this point, thanks to covid stupidity.
