@Totalanimefan: It's also pretty cloudy here, I'm just hoping things will clear up a tad so I can maybe catch a glimpse. If not, there'll always be some photos online. You doing anything special today? I made some chocolate chip cookies to celebrate and I'm gonna be using a candle I made along with a couple other smaller ones to light up my room tonight rather than using the normal lights

@Nephila: Wow that sounds like a real fun time you've got planned out! I would make a nice dinner for everyone but sadly money's kinda tight in my house, so it'll probably just be another night of fake mashed potatoes and turk'y cutlets for me and take out for everyone else.

I'm gonna light a candle for the members of the family that've passed, do you guys do something similar? I'm not religious so I kinda just do it from a point of spiritualism and trying to respect ancestors and whatnot, I'm kind of making up my own traditions lol

@Purpsy: I live in a normal neighborhood with smaller houses, so I'm probably gonna go sit out on my garage's roof and stargaze if it's nice enough out tonight

@Purpsy: It's gonna be below freezing tonight but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end if I'm able to see anything. But who knows with the city light pollution we got here, crossing my fingers

Update on the conjunction for me: sadly the light pollution in my city makes it so I can't see it, if anyone else can see it and get a good photo, please post it here!

@Totalanimefan: They're super good, they're crumbly and soft and just ahhh so good, very proud of myself. I have a bomb peanut butter cookie recipe that's worth a shot if you want it, everyone that's tried them absolutely loves them.
I always keep those sorts of things as staples since they're so important to baking from scratch and I do that a lot. Generally basic baking ingredients are always in the pantry if I can help it lol, always nice to have stuff on hand to make cakes, cookies, and brownies whenever I feel like making some
