buuuut i'll be honest i used to order unsweetened iced tea hehe or will ask for half and half (sweet / unsweet)

Yeah if you go to the deep south "iced tea" means "sweet tea" so you have to ask specifically for unsweet tea if that's what you want. You also get weird looks.

I love super sweet tea.

I usually ask for half and half also personally because I do like sweet tea, but the sweet tea here will instantly give you cavities and diabetes.

In TX it's... a little more ambiguous. Sometimes it's a fun game I play ... I pull up to the drivethru and order an iced tea and see what I get.
