Oh also I only have a really small one bedroom apartment, not even 700 sqft. So it doesn't take that long to clean. When I still lived at home growing up it took hours to clean my house and that was with my mom and sister cleaning too.
@Totalanimefan: I really need to clean so I can get to and through my room. Especially since we need someone to come fix my light. Our house is 1700 sqft. x.x
@Sweet Violet: Oh yeah that's why it would take so long. Growning up it was 1700 I believe as well and it was a least 2-4 hours every Saturday spent cleaning. But then once in a while you had to do the deep cleaning which was like 6 hours. And there would be 3 of us doing it. My mom, sister and I. My dad was a totally slob though and would make the mess of like 3 people, but never clean at all.
Oh my gosh sounds like here. Though with as much has built up, it'll take longer then 2-4 hours a week I think. Our Dad is like that too, we'll organize, and he'll come back mess it up. XD
@Sweet Violet: I know. I would always be in charge of the kitchen and vacuuming/mopping and it would take hours. My sister did the bathroom and my mom would do her bedroom, the laundry, the supermarket shopping and some other stuff here and there.
@Totalanimefan: Everything is chaos here, we just clean whenever there's time. XD
@Sweet Violet: OH I never wanted to do it, but every Saturday my mom made my sister and I do it, and we couldn't go anywhere until we did them.
@Totalanimefan: We were never made too, if fact when we were young I think we got in the way more then anything else, lol. Now everything is so busy, we just don't always have time. XD
@Sweet Violet: Oh I see. Now that I'm an adult I just do a little bit here and there. I don't set aside a time or a day to do it. I kinda like doing that at my own pace because then I don't dread one the day or the one time that I have to do it, which is really nice.
@Totalanimefan: We don't really like to (and can't anyway) set a time ether. Right now I'm trying to get everyone to clean a bit each day in prep for the Holidays, but it hasn't taken off.
@Sweet Violet: Yeah same. How many people live in your house with you?
@Totalanimefan: 3 others, my parents and my sister. Plus two little fur balls that meow.

@Sweet Violet: They are cute. My cat is only a year old, and my dog is 9 years old. What about your cats?
@Totalanimefan: Well one's really active and rambunctious, Charlie, he's 9 years old. The other is Fluffy, he's quieter, and very nervous, but still active, he's about 13.
@Sweet Violet: That's cute. My animals are both pretty active. They like to play with each other too.
@Totalanimefan: That' so sweet! I love to see dogs and cats playing together, so adorable!
