I went fishing once when I was little with my dad, brother, and grandfather. I begged them to take me with them because they always went fishing together whenever we went to our grandparents' house.

my most vivid fishing memories:
- drinking too much iced capp (from tim hortons) and throwing up
- flung my reel back and accidentally hooking onto some random dude's shirt. said hook had a worm speared onto it

Because I was kind of bored after maybe 20 minutes, and I also started to realize that I wasn't so sure if I actually wanted to catch fish or not.
After all, the main reason I'd wanted to go in the first place was because I didn't like the fact that my brother always got to go with my dad and grandpa, but they never took me. I hadn't actually thought about it beyond that
