I think Bruce wanted some time away from the little kitten, Cleo that we found and brought in a couple weeks ago.
Thankfully, this is a small town and the main road is far enough away from us, that I don't have to worry much about him going there.
There are SO many cats outside in this neighborhood. I'm sure he is making some older cat friends. Maybe he isn't interested in kitten playing any more, even if Bruce is only a couple years older than Cleo.

I've been feeding a stray lately - and named him, which wasn't a good idea because now I'm attached.. he's an outside cat, I guess - I'd bring him in but 4 cats is a lot of cats already... I'm hoping I can take him to the vet, get him fixed, and then take him to a shelter

Yeah, it is easy to get attached to animals when they are named.

On the bright side - the stray, Burberry, is doing a lot better with a regular food source!! :D

We ended up giving Bruce two of the can food sections (Shiba half sized protions). And he still ate some dry food too.

My cats will eat anything - Peaches tries to bite the green onions growing on my kitchen windowsill.. and Salina drinks the water that they're in. ;;>_>

i grew a few bunches in water for a while but after a month or two they seemed kind of sad :-( i feel like they wanted to transfer to soil after a while
