Thank you! I work in tourist industry, so I have to be understandable in English. Learning Cantonese because of upcoming trip to Hong Kong for work, if corona allows.
@Lilykin: thsbk you. I have not heard of midorea. Is it still around? I got scare away from gaia, too large.

@Keturah: thank you. I think written is more understandble than spoken. But because of job, I need to know a lot of English. We start teaching foreign language here early too. I started learning around 10 or 11. My kids learn it at 5. Depend on the place. I grew up in smaller area. So we learned later. But I live in bigger area and they learn sooner than I did.

I left Gaia awhile back. They were putting profits above its userbase and it showed. It wasn't fun anymore. I was looking at Windlyn but it didn't grab my fancy the way Voltra did.

I joined Windlyn after Voltra, but I noticed it's not as active as Voltra, so I probably won't be going back there. It's been running longer that Voltra so I think people have moved on. Only one person seemed to notice I joined instead of the large welcome wagon I got here, so I'll stick with this place.

I have a lot of respect for non-native speakers who can speak almost fluent English and even more so if you can type it! Supposedly English is a really hard language to learn as a lot of words sound similar but mean completely different things, similar to how 'TH' sounds differently to 'F'.
Amazing you can type it so well!
Where abouts in China are you from? My friend actually moved there after studying for a year and doesn't want to come back as he loves it so much xD
