orbs are basically chance items and crates are donation items right? so if you get a crate do you get both items or do you choose one? also how does the rare items fit in, because i don't think every crate has one?

So when you donate to the site you get currency and you can buy crates or orbs with it. The crates are like donation letters on Gaia. You open it and you get to choose your DI from that month. When you pick one you have a chance of also getting the rare for free with it.
For the orbs you can open them and you get one of the orbs items. Like a RIG.
