First one in our town, I’m excited. And it’s really cheap to get in and my daughter won’t cost a dime to go! It’s been 6 years since my last con.

@butterfly: Sweet I've never been to a comic con. I'd love to go to SDCC but I'm failing at adulting.
Comic-Con recently set up shop in my local convention center but no one I'd want to meet would attend it.
It's practically a yard sale compared to SDCC.
Ayyyeee congrats! I'm totally jelly! Hope you get to see some cool stuff - I'm sure it'll be a blast. Conventions are always interesting!

@Apollo Im Burning: I’ve always gone to anime conventions so I was really disappointed when it was just a vendor hall and nothing else. Still got some cool grabs but wished there were groups of kids singing Pokémon songs or something.
@MoodyBats: I hope you get to go to one that has a lot more going on. I was pretty much bummed not a lot of cosplayers or anything. But it’s new so hopefully if they continue it they’ll make it better.
@vengeance: it was still fun looking around at all the neat stuff people make.
@Angelus: I totally felt like I was at an over glorified yard sale not gonna lie.
@Glume: my phone was dead or else I would have!
@MoodyBats: I hope you get to go to one that has a lot more going on. I was pretty much bummed not a lot of cosplayers or anything. But it’s new so hopefully if they continue it they’ll make it better.

@Apollo Im Burning: that’s what shocked me. There were no panels, nothing. Not even an area for you to go and loiter in. Just a hall full of vendors and wayyyy too many people.
