I looked up the lyrics and meaning behind “Circles,” and what I thought was just a fun love song is actually a lot sadder and has a deeper story. ;__; It was inspired by the 2015 terrorist attack at the Bataclan theatre in Paris. Man.

Talking to this guy makes me nervous because he randomly stops responding to me throughout our convos. I get nervous because I never know if what I'm going to say is going to be ignored or replied to. It sucks even more when he messages me first and I pull the weight of the convo, just to be ignored sometime later. Is this breadcrumbing?

Like, I get excited to talk to him only to be met with disappointment whenever (if ever) he messages me or if I message him. I'm too old to be worrying about this kind of stuff or wasting my time like this. I've been through this so many times before. I should just ignore him and move onto someone else.
