I FORGOT ABOUT THESE
I love these so much, its such a precious idea that I'd love to build one.

Alas, I do not read enough books to really fill one up.
The books that I have read are not exactly child friendly, which I feel like most of these are intended for children more than they are for adults...
but I'll have to try and find one so I can chip in some of my nicer stories!

I've been cleaning my home up and making a pile of things and books that I should donate or something.
I"m not big on selling cause I don't like bringing strangers to my home place (or otherwise meeting in a parking lot like sketchy dealers to sell them a table or something)
Been trying to think of something to do with all these~!
Most of the small stack is manga so far and a novel that I didn't like very much. Fun journey, lame ending.

Do you do anything special with your books when you finish them?
Ever participated in a book exchange sort of thing or found any of these little free libraries? I have seen one or two when I lived in CO but never took or left anything in them.

I like seeing them around but I’ve never taken a book from it.

Another option for you:

You could try to go to a flea market to sell stuff if it's just location that worries you. We have one in our town that is open on the weekends. Lots of cool stuff gets sold! Kinda like a mix of yard sales and in-person Etsy.

Don't know how to use/read tone tags?

@Totalanimefan:
Same, I dont know if you're supposed to put on in if you take one out. That's what I would do to make it even :D
I'll have to keep my eyes peeled

@MaxIsConfused:
Thats not a bad idea, I think there is one around here somewhere?
In this state I'd have to get a permit to do it so it also depends on what those cost. Cant even do a yard sale without one of them XD
(probably why I dont see many yard sales since moving here)

@Jolly: I think that’s the common thing to do but it’s not a hard rule.

i dont think its age specific ... also you could put something on the book saying its adult in case you were worried about that.

@Jolly: I've seen those library houses that one of my neighbors have set up on their front yard, decorated with gnomes and fairies!

I hope I can make my own mini library house one day too!

@JosieOpal:
I could make cute WRAPPINGS FOR THE BOOKS
and write the age ratings on them
(gimme like 10 years to read enough books to fill one of these)

@WretroughWorld:
Oh thats a good idea to set one in your yard. Books for the neighbors <3
... but then my neighbors can judge me for what I read XD

You should! the little free libraries website gives free blueprints if you wanna do it yourself.

I use those little libraries as often as I can. c:
I take books if something catches my eye and then my pile of books at home, that I don't intend to keep, I drive or walk to the free libraries that I took from and fill them up.
Adults enjoy them as much as kids.
I was at a park once and slapped an old louis lamour western in it and within a few mins, a kid came over and grabbed it and yelled "MOM. Grampas books are in here!" and she scuttled over and grabbed the couple I put in for her father to read. cx
lol. I love louis lamour, ... so that made me feel like an old grandpa hiding inside a young female body. XDD
