pretty sure it takes a while to make too. i’ll just stick to letting them make it for me. they have the best prices in town. yet, it’s not overrun with tourists since it’s hidden in the back of the market. such a score for our lil neighborhood.

@icedchai: I’m back for a quick break. I got a bag of random produce last week but it was mostly veggies I don’t normally cook. I got some red kale and I get a different kind normally. I made it the same way I normally make kale and it was no good. Very bitter still. Had to throw it now. And now I’m making summer squash for the first time ever. It’s coming out better.

I made spaghetti for the first time in a long time by myself (Tyi usually helps season it because he's italian) and it was amazing, for the first time ever lol secret ingredients- half a cap of apple cider vinegar, and a splash of mango moscato.
@icedchai: I ended up just having some veggies and a slice of pizza from downstairs. Too much extra effort after I felt defeated. ^^;
The summer squash was good. Cooked it in a pan with Ba-Chan sauce. Which is like a thin Japanese sauce.
It would also be really good roasted in the oven.

my bf mentioned to me that he wants me to make shepherds pie tonight, so i’m sending him to the store to pick up the ingredients. it’s a little hot for shepherds pie but i love having leftovers on a monday for the rest of the week ^^
