There are little rubber caps you can put on them if you can get them to sit still long enough. Maybe they'll be less scared of those?
do you have anyone who can hold them while you clip? i have to burrito one of my cats in a blanket sometimes to clip her names.

Yeah that sucks. I can do like one paw and then my cat just leaves XD I have to do it really enough though because his claws grown back in two weeks. I don't understand how.

Oh man, I feel the pain. My kitties don't bite, but they squirm so much. And they are too fast for me to be able to burrito wrap them. I can usually get 2 claws on Shade before he runs and hides, but Batty only lets me maybe get one at a time.
