I need to go cook dinner - whatever that means for tonight (I don't feel like cooking and haven't thought about it much yet). It's rainy. Weirdly enough, I want a warm hearty soup. Maybe I'll make one. *thinks* Yeah, I should be able to make pumpkin & sweet potato soup. I think. Or butternut squash soup? I'll have to go double check my pantry for ingredients!!
@sunny: whatever works. I do the same kind of thing when I'm writing or doing artwork - something I enjoy but am familiar with. If it's too new or different, my attention tends to stray there instead of staying on my project.

@Wildfire: That's a good point. I have a feel for it already, but, my own experiences weren't the best. I'm trying to give my kids a better understanding that I did.

@Wildfire: Tht's the goal! Th reason we didn't use salt , is becuz baking-soda is hard 2 get off of bristly things! & it's not Tht harmful for your mouth... it jst Tastes bad >:-)
