Do you know how to read and write cursive?
I can kind of read some of it and kind of write some of it. There's actually a kind of funny story about this. We learned cursive in elementary school, and our teachers told us we'd have to start writing in cursive once we got to middle school. We didn't have to write in cursive in middle school. Our middle school teachers, upon finding out about our subpar cursive skills, were surprised and told us we would have to write in cursive in high school. We did not have to write in cursive in high school. Our high school teachers were also surprised when we had difficulty reading things they wrote in cursive though.
I just think it's funny how the teachers seemed to think that we were going to be in trouble when we had to start writing in cursive when that never ended up happening.

My day is going ok, all in all. Currently waiting to hear back from the auto shop concerning the maintenance on my vehicle, so that's always fun. Not.

@Wildfire: I'm one of those parents that don't really let my kids on technology, I encourage them to play outside and make up games.
Now I feel terrible because my second grader is like "whats google?" and asking questions that I had plenty of time to teach her. Like minimizing, tabs, closing out, etc.
Oh gosh, it's been a while since I've had to deal with auto shops. I hate that wait to find out damage and costs.
