Yeah AirBnB was really hurting the housing market. I kinda hope they go under. I liked using them when I was in japan because I wanted it to feel more like living in Japan and there weren’t many hotels that would house 3 people at once.
But AirBnB also isn’t good for cities/towns because most cities have a tax on hotels that help pay for things the city needs. Renting out a room in AirBnB has cost cities millions of dollars in lost revenue. And that helps them pay for schools or road improvements, etc
