@Bonnie: Yeah exactly! Local measures matter so much, and honestly I don't see weed getting passed any other way then if we vote. I don't smoke it but I think it should be legal and we should use the taxes to fund schools, libraries and other things.
@djinn: Is there anything that's important to you that you wish could change? Like Min wage, legal weed, healthcare, etc etc? Cause that's what gets people to vote. I hate that the presidential vote just turned into two old dudes, but all of the other stuff is so important. What state are you in?

@djinn: following politics is tiring. I don't blame you. Maybe you can just research a bit before you vote? That way it doesn't take up that much of your time.

@Totalanimefan: weed becoming legal would be great but what I think is deterring that is releasing all those people who were locked up on charges for weed that have been sitting in jail.

Local elections are easy too. I find myself understanding the jargon on those better than state elections.

@Bonnie: Yes that needs to happen, and it needs to be removed from their records and we need to have job training for them. It's not fair that they got to miss out on life for weed.
Yeah same. CA always has a lot on the ballot for local elections.

And who goes on your city council is a big deal because they ok projects. You want more housing vote for people who will pass housing!

@Totalanimefan: yes! Jon training these people should not be in jail wasting away over something that even policemen use. They smoke weed too! We don’t have a lot usually but i so need to check when the elections are they had to be pushed back.

@Bonnie: I think that more young people are going to vote. Too many of us are fed up with Trump, also Gen Z seems to be very political. I think it's because Global Warming worries them the most.
