Yes, and? There are lots of things that are fun that can also be problematic, I don't think "it's fun" is a good excuse for me to do something alone.
I figure I'll look into it when I start seriously designing the cosplay and decide from there. Maybe build a bastion or the payload if nothing else, lol. I could see building a junker town payload thing with all the fake jewels.

I have a group that wants to cosplay next year at Otakon, and everyone is supposed to do an overmans. I think I'm going to try to do Mei, but... I dunno, I feel weird as a white girl cosplaying her? Still debating it.

@AelloTyphoeus: haha, I always said the same thing when I heard about people going low carb, but I didn't have a choice. The surprising part is that it's actually not that bad! There is a huge community of people who have mastered low carb alternatives. Zoodles are great, low carb deserts are amazing (enlightened caramel oatmeal Ice cream is literally the best I've ever had), and I've honestly found that the only real change is that I need to use a fork more often, since you don't have the handle /filler carb like a bun on a burger. And as a trade off, I get to feel good while eating things like chicken wrapped in bacon and covered in cheddar, which is 100% an amazing recipe that the keto caveman has on his site.

Tbh now that we've got such intense restrictions (low carb means no flour, corn, rice, noodles, etc) I think ive tried more new things this year than ever in my life. I can make a mean pumpkin egg pastry, and fresh whipped cream is bae.
