@Wildfire: yeah she is an amazing friend.
We also play games together which is super fun!
yeah. he just needs to learn to relax. and my grandma does think a lot of his attitude just
stems from how he was raised and such.
But i still don't think it's any excuse to stress out your wife to the point she had a heart attack
from the stress.
she has some tests she's doing this week their doing just to be sure this wasn't caused
by something even more serious.
tho we won't know the results for a few days.

@Wildfire: it really is. So im always kinda researching how to do a better job at marketing.
tho it helps i recently found out i can link my shop in my Instagram stories.
so once i make new stickers i'll be doing that.
my friend's always say they had 0 luck with IG and advertisement. so i think I should stick to maybe doing it by twitter
or some other site.
though i have some great ideas for stickers.
Well my friend and I have a collab adoptables that we do together.
so in a way she markets for me that way.
and she shares my work through ig stories. that may not seem like much but you would not believe how one story
improves my work being seen. She's like the only person sharing my work XDD
But she also advertises my commissions on her commission journal on Deviantart. so she is definitely helping me so much.
it's all about finding the right people.
It was a minor heart attack. It was a few days ago. She had completely blacked out.
her husband had stressed her out. he always wants to move, and he is always just...making things so hard
on my grandmother and he is so sure moving to the next two town's over will suddenly make him feel better of his ailments. Even tho
it really won't. he is missing part of a lung, no bladdar, etc. and he just assumes moving to the kind of rich area will make him suddenly be cured.
so he has been pressuring my grandmother so hard to sell the house, move there, etc. but she doesn't want to because my grandmother
is honestly like a second mother to me.

@Wildfire: i'm not getting a single commission from these sites.
like at all. Without my friend, who i've known for...5 maybe 6 years i probably would've given up XDD
tho i have more hope in my shop than my commission work.
cause even tho i have gone nothing i don't see advertising my work as pointless. as it has been giving me a bit
more eyes on my online shop at the very least.
so that's good.
tho i am not fully doing art until after beginning of march
stress lately is just too high for focus.
My grandma recently had a heart attack apparently.
so I don't feel ready to do much art until i know what her test results come back.
but once i know she is okay i have a few projects i can finish or start that im super excited about.

Da has so much to offer now.
i want to get better at using it for sure.
and i looked up commissions and dont need core but that was just if i didnt want them taking out a fee.
so i may use that and see where it goes.

@Koah: last i checked commissions was a core feature.
DA has been really pumping out new features so often now.
It's so cool. But core is pretty inexpensive as they have a lot of sales for it. but i am unsure if it would do much.
My DA is pretty quiet so i haven't yet figured out the right tags for tagging my work.
tho i may look into it in the future.
My friend introduced me to toyhouse and getting commissions there. So far nothing but
i'm going to be working more on my craft regardless.
I want to do more painterly pieces as well as a sort of comic style that's more simple.
tho lately having difficulty with focus with stressful situations going on lol.
I haven't heard of Vero i'll definitely be checking it out.

@Koah: haha yess. each time i always chose different chips lol.
i am working towards being a freelance artist and unfortunately im forced to use social media. i eant it to sorta be my job as its difficult for me to get a regular 9-5 job.
i only dont like social media because so often ig decides to change how the site works for artist like every 3 or so months and now pushing videos to be better for their algorithm so now im making small speedpaints lol my reach plummets every time they change something XD

i dont think I've ever been to a subway with a drive thru either. no idea that existed lol
lol well thank you.
im still learning a lot in my work so a lot of it is just me experimenting XDD

i probably should do some challenges.
but not until after march 4th.
taking like a wjole month off just to kinda figure out where to go in my art.
we used to get subway often when none of us were feeling ip to cooking but when pandemic hit we stopped altogether.

posting on at least...4 sites it's just not as easy as people may think. XD
like algorithims always make it 10x harder.
so not just posting art but i have to figure out how sites work, and what works for me, etc lol.
that's the frustrating part.

being an artist is very...weird at times.
it ties in with the whole imposter syndrome. feeling like undeserving if people do see my work.
My work does get seen but i don't want it to be on a massive scale basically.
for me youtube is such a big platform LOL
it's more so daunting than any of the other platforms.
i do not market well just because no one gives advice on it because marketing is so complicated lol.
most advice is what's worked for them not necessarily what works for everyone.
but my friend helps me a lot with figuring out marketing.
im just not consistent in posting because all these algorithms change to work against small creators.
at least under 1k followers. and i don't even have half of that so i get greatly affected LOL
