Looking at her out of the corner of his eye, he pretended to be too focused on the clouds himself to notice her oddness. Neither of them seemed to like the location they were heading towards, but Lisa seemed to have a very different hope for the incoming storms. Snorting to himself, he turned back towards camp.
”Better get a move on if we want to avoid a search party.” He started walking, not looking back to make sure she was following. She’d already voiced her unwillingness to swim, there wasn’t anything else he needed to be worried about. Not so soon, at least. The only benefit of the oncoming storm was the decreased chance of her people sending out a recovery team of their own. Based on her attitude, though…maybe that’s not something they had to worry about at all, storms or no storms.

@Totalanimefan: they're doing it in a lottery-within-groups kinda way, and we're just. a very large population, so it's gonna take a while x.x I think they're focusing on the elderly because in my experience they're a larger portion of the anti-mask population out here :vanora_upsidedown: so if they get vaccinated sooner, our hospital numbers will go down faster, etc

eeeeeh? my city/county specifically has a higher-than-average elderly population so they're more of a priority than essential employees. especially because my county includes Palm Springs lmao but I'll get it eventually. Living in California definitely uh. makes vaccine role outs interesting. There's a loooooot of people here and not a lot of vaccines x.x

thank you!!! I miss going to goodwill just to look around but with me still working 20+ hours a week I don't want to be shopping/browsing unless I'm looking for something specific :/ esp since I'm a cashier and interact with like 75+% of the customers every shift

lets seeee...the black/green one, the shimmery top is from Ross iirc and the dress was an xmas present from my sister.
I made the flower crown, the tie I stole from my sister 10+ years ago, the collared shirt is from banana republic, and the dress/skirt is from Goodwill
the flower crown was a present from an airy fairy shop in Solvang CA, the dress is from a 50s themed shop in San Luis Obispo CA, and the tights are from Target
aaaand the shirt is from Marshalls, and the skirt/dress is from Styles for Less or Target I think?
the tall boots and the pink shoes are from JustFab and the ankle boots are from Macys :>
