@Totalanimefan: yeaaaaaaaaah, she's kinda a dead babe. I'm p sure the new laptop uses the same cord, so I can just swap the chargers when I need to, but tbh I uh. only really use the old one to record things for my dance class, since it's currently in the front living room lmao

@Totalanimefan: I uh. basically got the exact same laptop but all the storage is on the C drive instead of having a C drive and a D drive lmaoooooo it's a 17 in Dell inspiron 3000 series XD it's 500GB of storage, compared to the old one, which iirc has 100GB on the C and 600 on the D; I left the VM on that one and the older Sims games and only downloaded VS 2019, Sims 4, and DA:O on the new lappy. It's not like the other one is dead dead, the screen is just cracked beyond repair and the battery/charger need to be replaced lmao
One day....I'll have an office with a desktop computer and only need my lappy for travel purposes lol until then, 2 lappies XD

@Totalanimefan: my laptop screen has been broken for over a year now, I finally just bought a new laptop lmao so that's why I've been dead and not really online much, so no volts x.x
Mostly? I've been giving somewhat generous welcome packages to new members. there's usually only 1 or 2 people online at a time right now, our older geared userbase and small site size isn't doing us any favors, esp with me being one of the only staff members on regularly. It's hard T.T

@Whimsy: I have...a couple! fantasy stories are my jam lmao
Idea 1: wizard kind of sucks at being a wizard, and they've been attempting the ritual to summon a familiar every couple months for the past 2 years, because if they have a familiar they have to be a real wizard, right?! So they try again, and to their shock, a familiar shows up! Except what the wizard doesn't know is the person they've been buying the ingredients needed for the ritual from this whole time is a shapeshifter and they just feel really bad for this poor bumbling fool who they can tell would be a pretty good wizard if they just like. developed some self confidence and/or did more with their magic that just trying to summon a familiar. SO they may or may not have tricked the wizard into telling them when/where they were going to try again and showed up in animal form. ITS FINE, THERE'S NO WAY THIS COULD GO WRONG
Idea 2: a wizard and a magical humanoid creature have been friends for a while but they want to travel somewhere and the airline is being rude about letting the magical humanoid on the plane so they "have" to pretend they're engaged/magically bonded because there's laws about separating the humanoid's species from their bonded partners. Now they have to pretend to be all lovey dovey and stuff, except they're both idiots who have been in love with each other for years but think the other isn't interested (Fake Dating, Mutual Pining, Idiots in Love)

@Totalanimefan: the only truly annoying/baffling thing is when I have box cutter in my hand, am standing next to a U-boat, am stocking things from an open box, while wearing a green shirt and my name tag and get asked "do you work here?" like ma'am/sir......no I'm just doing this for fun I'm not getting paid at all

@Totalanimefan: the food/drinks I understand but when they ask me about a laundry basket that's sitting under a "everything is $1!" sign I cri inside xD I get it, cause we have a 99 Cent and Up store by us, but there's signs all over the store that say "$1 only!" and the like lmao
it's just little things that are amusing most of the time but get annoying when you have a knife and 3 boxes scattered around you XD

@Totalanimefan: the most expensive things in the store are the drinks! a 6 pack of water bottles is $1.30USD because of CRV and a 4 pack of soda is $1.29USD because CRV and 9 cents tax lol drinks are typically $1 + CRV (5 or 10 cents depending on the size), and if it's soda it also has the 9 cent tax
we DO sell a couple things that are under a dollar, but that's mark downs, poster boards, and some of the smaller food items. Or seasonal items for a holiday that just passed so the system is marking them down so we can get rid of it
