Patreon and Etsy are good examples of investors ruining things. You could literally run their base models as is forever and make a profit from it. But investors want double or triple the return and force developers to push out cash grab updates that in turn push people away from their service

@Colin: I actually really liked the evolving items at first. They were fun and generated a lot community discussion. But gaia investors (I'm assuming) got greedy. It's kinda what happened to tumblr. Someone from the outside only sees dollar signs but have no idea what actually makes it appealing and how to generate income from that

@Totalanimefan: That sucks about the teacher. Could she possibly have a thing for your husband???

@Colin: Love that thrill! Honestly why I hung around gaia as long as I did. I really wanted to go after all the old MC's but then the rigs started coming out nonstop and I couldn't keep up and it wasn't fun anymore. I think Voltra's got a good balance here
