@Addy: I love the two cakes analogy. Pushing it further, like yeah, there are some fantastically complex cakes out there l. But most people prefer a simpler cake they can eat again and again

I wanted to get an ipad but it was that or a new laptop so I got the laptop lol

@Addy: This remains one of favorite motivational videos. (Warning: language and cartoon tallywackers.) But the basic philosophy is do something, do anything. Make stupid art so you can make good art :]
@LupaPrinceRomulus: Alright I suppose. You?
@xvz: Microwave! It's this recipe specifically btw. You can melt everything in one of those pyrex measuring bowls :)

@Totalanimefan: Love talk-to-text. I usually toggle mine on/off tho cause I don't need anyone listening in all the time :[
@xvz: Do it! It keeps in the fridge pretty well, assuming it doesn't all get eaten by vultures the first day lol. I usually hide a little bag for myself XD
@xvz: Chex calls them muddy buddies but we grew up calling it puppy chow. It's literally the same recipe except for swapping out the chex for the popcorn. (I usually just pop a bag and pick out all the kernels but you can measure and stove pop it too.) Regular puppy chow is pretty great too but it's super sweet lol

Yikes, hurt arms/wrists suck. If it's carpal tunnel syndrome I recc these stretches when the swelling goes down. The neural glides are pretty good too
@Totalanimefan: I usually buy the boxed stuff from work... but I haven't been to work 😬

As for typing, maybe you could do talk to text for awhile?

@xvz: I'm weak for sweet/salty stuff. One of my favorite things to make is "poppy chow". Which is "puppy chow" but you substitute the chex cereal for popcorn. Luckily it's messy to make so I don't make it very often lol
@Totalanimefan: I get plenty of other sugar lol *side eyes my cookie/candy stash* >_>

@xvz: I do! I've got lots of drink mixes. I drink tea pretty frequently too, but I'm out of my caffeinated stuff /cry

I go off and on the soda kick. My longest run was probably 3 years? (I made the exception for movie theaters and pizza. You just gotta have soda with those, there's no substitute.) There's a gas station here that had an "herbal" tea that I was obsessed with for a good while. But it had twice the amount of sugar that my soda did lmao. Had to let it go~

@MoodyBats: I haven't really gotten a lot of feedback for my redbubble, but I also haven't promoted it all and I've only thrown up some pretty niche subject matter so that's probably my own fault lol
@Totalanimefan: I wanted cut back partly cause money and partly cause if I have too much soda I get headaches/migraines/acne. My body is a mystery even to me. I wish I could try switching to coffee but I don't have a machine and that's even more expensive to go out and buy lmao

@MoodyBats: "Finished, not perfect" is my mantra more and more. Sometimes you have to let a piece go and be content that the next one will be better lol. Maybe you could offer her as a Redbubble print to see if there's any interest?

Seconding crafts! My mom always had craft at my birthday parties as an activity/"take home" goody. We made bracelets, painted ceramics, melted our own crayons... if you have the ingredients on hand homemade play dough is a great 2yr old activity! Kids love to pick out their own colors and then squish the dough together in the bag (just don't let them eat it lol)
