Seems like we're one of the few who actually genuinely enjoyed the book series LOL.
I think I still have them somewhere .... wait no! I borrowed them off a friend I think!!

My only issue is I dislike when series of books release a new book YEARS after the series ended. Especially YA as a lot of the original fans of the series have grown up and no longer care for the series, like me. I probably would have LOVED a new book years ago when I still cared.
The Eragon author did the same thing and the new book was (sorry) garbage and added nothing to the story, Ooop.

I think I started on gaia and have tried Tinierme but never got into it. I played on IMVU for a few months and still go back every couple of months to check it out, haha. It's never as social as I'd like it to be. People just sit in a room silently and don't really know how to make conversation xD
There was another site I tried but I don't remember the name, I didn't get into it much.
I truly hope they make a come back too!!!!
We sound pretty much the same, haha. Except I don't even live with my partner.
I talk lots with him and my work mates but I'm honestly super bored most of the days and when not working I like to talk to someone, haha.
Copying art to start learning isn't a bad thing!! A lot of artists would agree that even tracing is a worthy tool if you're using it to learn (and aren't selling/claiming the art as your own) I often will trace hands on a photo to understand a pose and perspective better. No shame in that!!!

London is massive!!! It's why I was so surprised at how small Amsterdam was when I went a few years back. You could almost walk it in under an hour if you wanted!
I'm very bias when it comes to London as it's my home town 8)
I live in the east and my fave part is probably the big ass free museums, national history is probably my favourite but always so busy! There is a side entrance and if you have a ticket for ANYTHING inside you can just walk right in. There's always exhibitions on (obviously outside of corona) and new things to see. My friends always so good at finding out where to go and eat as well, haha! We had tickets to a yayoi exhibition that was meant to be next week but I assume it's cancelled now as non essential travel is banned!! ;;;_____;;

I've learnt to be a lot more open and better at connecting online but it often doesn't compare to knowing someone face to face! I'm just so awkward IRL sometimes, especially when it comes to something I'm passionate about but not all people may understand, haha
That's so cool you're doing daily practice! I wish I had the time and motivation but at least I'm doing lil bits towards artwork I'm working on~
I've always been slow but even more so now we're all stuck at home.
It is an excellent networking practice and I really need to do it more!
I've learnt to be a lot more open and better at connecting online but it often doesn't compare to knowing someone face to face! I'm just so awkward IRL sometimes, especially when it comes to something I'm passionate about but not all people may understand, haha

I sacrificed size for portability because I had a wacom tablet and felt that getting something portable was something I could convince myself I needed. Whereas I didn't NEED a new tablet when my current works fine xD
I'm honestly a dumbass and god CSP on my laptop so I can't even use it on my ipad. I'M SO DUMB LOLLL
maybe one day I'll use it;;;

So true!!! I'm in a few art discords and sometimes it's super intense and other times super inspiring to be around so many artists at once, haha! I love being able to post my work for feedback at almost any time of the day and know quite a few artists on first name basis in most of the servers I'm in.~
