Sammy nodded, but didn't say anything before sending a text off to her dad, since he was the one who had a number she could remember for the moment.
Hey. Need a mana extraction. Busted leg, busted ribs. It's Sammy using Darrel's phone. She sent before sighing.
"Damned wolf." she muttered

"I have no idea where my phone is." Sammy answered.
"I think it fell separate from me down there earlier." She added.
"and pass your phone over, and I'll call. Or text. Or something."

Sammy was silent, just held fast during the climb. Once he'd reached the top, she relaxed her grip a bit.
"eah... yeah I think so." She told him.
"I'm not sure what the mana interference was... but it may have been a plant down there." She then said.
"So we could try again, unless you want to carry me home. I really don't think I could do so myself."

"That wolf is why I'm here in the first place." Sammy stated as she climbed onto his back. It took longer than he would have liked, but at least she was able to after a few attempts.
"All right." She said after a couple seconds.
"Let's go." She paused a moment before biting her lip.
'Because damn I hurt."

"I'll survive." Sammy said before carefully getting herself to a sitting position.
"Trust me, I can ignore most pain." She commented.
"So get in front of me and I'll climb onto your back."

"If mana was an option..... don't you think I would have used mine to get out of here and home?" Sammy asked with a laugh.
"I've been stuck down here all night." She added.
"So... I'm riduclously happy to see someone else."

"Yo!" Sammy called up.
"About a dozen feet down! Can't get up myself." She called up to him, having recognized Darrel's voice in an instant.
"So... hi. I'm alive. Wanna help?"

Sammy was silent as she was there, but as Darrel neared, she paused.
"Wait..." She said quietly. Those didn't sound like creature steps. Those sounded like human steps.
As she listened, she heard a growl from the wolf before it seemed to stick its nose off and head off. Someone new was there... this meal was more trouble than it was worth now.

Sammy was at the bottom of a ravine, not sure how she was able to get out of there. She'd tried climbing up, and it hadn't worked too well. She couldn't mana out, due to something in the area interfering with that, and she still heard the damned wolf that had attacked her in the first place still prowling around up there. Thankfully it wasn't coming down to her, just waiting for her to surface.
"I'm so bored..." She whined quietly as she laid back, pain in her features as she did so. She'd broken her leg pretty nastily, and probably a few of her ribs too. It wasn't fun, at the very least, but at least she was alive.

"The ones she takes when she's trying to hide." Casey answered, knowing that Lindsay would know which she meant. They were ones that went more through underbrush, instead of an actual path. she didn't tell anyone about them, aside from her parents who she had been practically forced to tell.
"Because it'd be you or me checking those." She then said. "Darrel doesn't even know of them."
