the last dish i made w/ sweet potatoes was black bean and sweet potato tacos!
green/red peppers, onions, black beans (or chickpeas!), cut up sweet potatoes on tortillas
lots of seasoning and hot sauce + lime juice

i might make them again soon!

@sunny: Yeah she had it already and is in the hospital. I think she will be there for 2 days.
@Bonnie: They are just the best. Better than regular potatoes I think. I'm alright. My mom had her surgery. I don't know if I updated you, but she didn't need open heart surgery at least. Just another kind of heart surgery, but it's like 1-3 weeks recover time instead of 6-10 weeks. And they don't have to crack her rib cage open.

haha i've been making iced coffee to drink in the mornings!
i'll make extra coffee and then refrigerate the extra :9
would recommend as a refreshing cold drink, esp over ice!

@Lina: It almost makes the heat wave worth it lol. I brewed some cold brew tea this morning. Unsweetened Peach Black Tea. After I have one glass I switch to water.
@xvz: lolol yes we did. We both had the teacher for different classes. Do you do the coffee overnight in the fridge so it's ready for you the next morning?

hmm i usually make it in the morning bc i'm out of iced coffee so i'll make hot coffee for that day but have iced for the next day or two
i used to make cold brew tho! you can do it the night before and it's ready in the morning :-)
i tend to make cold brew too strong tho lol

@Bonnie: I haven’t spoken with her. My sister said a few hours ago that she was still out of it. I think she has to lay in bed for so many hours after.
@xvz: yeah if you make cold brew overnight it’s much stronger. Some people like that better though. And it’s less bitter. With cold brew tea idk if it’s stronger but it certainly is less bitter and it’s already cold!
