@sunny: Yeah my husband and I would like to move next year or maybe the year after. It depends you know COVID-19 has ruined all plans XD

@sunny: My husband and I are considering Washington DC. We don't know if his work would allow it but his company is working from home for the foreseeable future.
@Totalanimefan: that sounds like a big move. Is it far away from where you currently live?
@sunny: Yeah I live on the west coast of the US, in California. Washington DC is on the east coast of the US and is a 6 hour plane ride away from my current home.
Martin's family (my husband) all lives in England cause he's British. My family except for my sister all live on the east coast of the US. (In various states). I grew up on the east coast and although I like CA it's just too expensive and I'm not the biggest fan of the culture. I like that it's laid back, but that's about the only positive.
The reason why we like DC is we go there every summer for an anime con and we both fell in love with the city. I love how easy it is to get around, the buildings are tall but the height limit means that 12 stories is the tallest, so it's not like London or NYC with skyscrapers.
It's bike friendly, has really good parks, free museums and zoo, good food, easy to find a job, etc etc.
I actually feel very at home in that city which is weird because the first time I was ever there was 2017.
The only kinda down side right now is that my husband and I want my husband to keep his current job at his current company. We don't think there is an office in DC, so we don't know if his boss would let him move there. So we are waiting until his job just says you can work anywhere or said company announces an office in that region. They really need to because they are a tech company and every other huge tech company has an office there.
