"Fare for your travels." He stated.

"You will need to purchase tickets, one of reach of you, to board the ship at Fygra" He continued, his voice calm.

"I have been told that it is imperative you catch the one in 18 moons."

"...tickets?" Adym mumbled.

"The ship at Fygra..." he went on.

"If we are to catch it in 18 moons, we have little time to waste." he then muttered.

He then peeked inside the envelope, and indeed found the funds needed to purchase the tickets.

"Thank you." he said.

"We will leave post-haste."

"Ofc ourse." He said simply.

"I know you have quite a distance." He then said after a moment.

"Take care of yourselves through your travels. Your task is not an easy one."

He was then about to suggest to Callie that they leave, before pausing.

"...ah!" he exclaimed lightly.

"You said you had TWO things for us?" he asked the Prefect.

Callie just paused before laughing. Mervyn meanwhile smiled softly.

"The information, and the money." He told him honestly, a light chuckle to his voice.

"It seems that your companion had realised that."

He felt like an idiot.

A genuine, complete, utter idiot.

And he'd embarrassed himself in front of the Prefect, too.

"Yes." he said.

"She did. I didn't." he said further.

"Callie, we should go." he told Calysta.

"Thank you ever so much once again." he repeated to the Prefect, burning up with shame on the inside.

"Sadly, I don't believe I have any other help I can give for the moment." Mervyn said with a sigh.

"I do wish I did though." He added.

"Honestly, I'm pretty sure that the help you have offered so far is more than enough." Callie said with a soft smile.

"Kyr'avna." She said with a smile. She didn't bow or anything, as she rightly couldn't for the moment. Plus she wasn't sure as to what was customary.

"Come on, Callie." Adym then said to Callie.

The two of them then left, and he sighed.

"Guess we should go." he commented.

"Got a long journey ahead of us." he told her.

"Seems that way." She agreed with a nod.

"I suppose it's time to head back to your place, make sure everything is in order, before heading out." She commented.

"At least this thing feels super sturdy." She added with a light laugh as she motioned to the walking stick he'd made her.

"And head back to my place?" he asked.

"You sure?" he asked her.

"Is... locking the doors and wahtnot... not a thing here?" She asked, her voice honestly curious.

"Because... one would think you'd want to make sure tha tit's secure and the like, so that .. no ne can come in and steal anything you may have? Or have a squatter?"

"Everyone in my home respects others." he said.

"It's a very well-protected place from outsiders that would do it harm, and we all get along in here." he continued.

"My home had not been entered since I left. Everything was as I left it." he assured her.

"...though it might be wise to grab some supplies from there." he then admitted.

"Get a few things before we go."

"That... damn. Wish I had that kind of trust back home." She commented.

"But all right. Let's go grab whatever, and then head out." She said with a soft smile.

"Although, is it really that far we need to go?" She asked, making it apparent that she didn't know.

Adym just sighed.

"It is." he said.

"We're going to the edge of the continent." he told her.

"And the ferry we need to catch will literally take us to another continent." he continued.

"We'll be travelling for quite a bit. You heard what the Prefect told us." he went on.

"However, I would estimate we'll get there with at least a couple of days to spare." he then added.

"Regardless, looks like we're on a bit of a grand journey." he commented with a light chuckle. "Buckle up, Callie... it's gonna be a wild ride." he added.
