I'm waiting on a package that the post office said it delivered yesterday, but I was here and there was no delivery. Sometimes they do this, and it always stresses me out

okay, they answered, and apparently that wasn't even the phone number for my post office, even though it's listed as such on the usps website. what.
Oops, I wasn't paying attention. I'll be careful about that

Well, I try to start out calls like this assuming the best, and treating people kindly and patiently, and it usually works out. In fact, the employee just came to my door and delivered the package himself. He felt bad for the mistake, but I was just happy they were able to fix it so quickly. I had been told not to expect it until tomorrow.
What happened is the box got put on the wrong route, and he just looked at the last name, and delivered it to the family on his route with my last name.
I know some people have had trouble with the post office, but I think being kind and patient can go a long way toward improving how people in that job treat you, even if you think the situation is unreasonable, or the people are in the wrong.

Yeah, this is the first time this has happened to me, but it's also a separate delivery office that just handles packages in this area, and not mail. That's why I had the wrong phone number at first

I don’t like calling people either, hence why I procrastinated calling to make a hair cut appointment again. >3>;;
I’m glad you got that package situation resolved. I try to be nice and patient too, and it works a lot better than getting in people’s faces and threatening to speak to their manager, etc.

My dad bought a bunch of ground turkey and asked me to cook him stuff, so that’s what I’ve been doing after work. x__x

I’m ok at cooking. I’m one of those peeps who watches the food network and tries to copy what I see them doing.

I’m the same way. The first time I make something is usually not as good as the second time I make stuffs. I try to follow the recipes exactly as written the first time too.
