@Totalanimefan: i don't think i've ever had the flu before, just colds.
tho i once got sick with something that kept me sick for about 6 weeks.
but that was a long time ago and luckilly no repeat of that.
i think it was whooping cough.

@Totalanimefan: i just googled how long whooping cough lasts and "It usually takes about seven to 10 days after being exposed to the infection to start showing symptoms. Full recovery from whooping cough may take two to three months." o .o
ima cross all my fingers and knock on wood, and hope neither of us gets sick this winter season.

Nice. I have off this week because I'm having company over for thanksgiving.
Normally we cook very similar foods to Christmas for thanksgiving. But this year for the first time my family wants to eat out so I got us a table at a Yakiniku place. Which is a Japanese bbq place. I'm excited for that but I will miss the traditional food too. I'll just make it later.

but my town probably doesn't have that. the city might tho.
i had the basics for my thanksgiving,
i cooked a turkey, gravy, corn, mashed potatos, cheesy brocolli.
i was too lazy to make stuffing, plus i don't really like stuffing lol
i should've made bisquits tho, kinda missed that.
i'm going to have to remember to make bisquits for christmas dinner.
@Zuzu: I live next to a town that has a large Asian population. So we have lots of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, etc places.
That all sounds good. I can't eat onions, they make me sick so I don't eat the stuffing anyway. I would miss bread. It's a must have.

but i know for sure in the city they have alot more to offer.
i shall remember it next time. for sure. tho i kinda want to do a roast beef for christmas.
i like that a bit more than turkey. plus i always like making turkey soup from the leftovers but that's a bit more work.
@Zuzu: The Internet could help you find some places with you having to actually go around looking for them ^^ I use it a lot. Things like Google Maps.
They both sound good so go with whatever is on sale haha

I took miu to the vet last night because Worried Cat Mom™ after he wasn't doing well all weekend. He's on anti-nausea meds, and trying to hang in there until his ultrasound appointment next month.
ugh.
they have a list of possible things that could be wrong but can't find out without biopsy or imaging, and the radiologist isn't in until the 13th, hence the long wait for my appointment.
