Cedric just smiled back and showed her the bag. When she got closer, they sat down at one of the tables, and he pushed it towards her.

"Here." he said.

"You've been so nice and wonderful to me, I wanted to surprise you." he told her.

"So I made you lunch." he went on.

"...sorry if I'm a little bit late." he then apologised. "I... kinda got a bit lost on the way here." he admitted.

"But yeah... I put together some lunch for you."

Cedric just smiled again.

"Well, maybe." he said.

"I mean, I ate before I came, but... maybe I'll have one of the desserts." he chuckled.

It was at that point, Hal used his mana to SLOWLY shut the doors to the cafeteria, silently locking them up as he did so, making sure nobody could get in or out.

"And I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to." he told her.

"You're special and important to me." he went on.

"I don't know where I'd be without you." he chuckled lightly.

"I was taught to." Cedric replied.

"I was taught a lot of things when I was younger." he said further.

He then sighed, and grabbed one of the cookies.

"Oh, and I know I made a little... too much. I just got carried away." he went on.

"Feel free to share with your friends here, or whatever." he added with a smile.

Cedric froze for a moment when he heard that. Both because his real name was being used, and because he recognised the voice that had spoken to him.

"...ah..." he stammered, before slowly looking behind him.

"Ah... ah..." he stuttered further.

"Wait... what?" he then asked.

"Why... why are YOU here!?" he asked them.

"....wh...?" Cedric stammered again.

"Wait, mana?" he asked.

"What mana?" he asked her.

"What are you talking about? Why are you here?" he asked further.

"You don't work here." he went on.

"And mana in her food? What is going on here?" he continued, trying desperately to try and deny anything he was being accused of.

"Miss Gardner, what's going on here?" he asked Sierra.

"......" Cedric was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"Damn it." he said, his tone far different than before.

"I should have known you were meddling when the banshee returned free of my control." he growled.

"But how?" he then asked.

"I'd been slipping it into her bit by bit, it should have been undetectable." he commented.

"I even started up trouble in the world JUST to distract people from what I was doing." he lamented.

"How was I discovered?"

Cedric growled, and managed to wrench himself free of Ashley's grasp.

"I refuse to die!" he exclaimed.

"As long as I remain alive, they will continue!" he told her.

"I WON'T have my plans ruined by a damn CHIMERA!" he then spat at Ashley.

"I will do what mother failed to! I WILL succeed!"

Cedric was shocked and stunned for a moment, before suddenly acquiring a calm look on his face.

He then closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and as he exhaled it, he was surrounded by the faintest blue aura for a second, before it disappeared.

"By all means." he said.

"Do it." he told her.

"You know you want to. You know it's in your nature." he told her further.

There seemed to be weird time dilation around Cedric for a moment, before he appeared as he was before she attacked.

"Oh, dang." Cedric said, opening his eyes.

"That was brutal." he told Aedan.

"Which is how you should be." he continued.

"You wanted to murder the banshee for killing that disgrace of a demon, right?" he asked.

"So do it! Be mindless! Be what you are!" he declared, almost victoriously.

"Go right ahead." Cedric replied, leaping to his feet, but not trying to escape, or attack. "Do all you like! Learn all you want from my brain!" he declared.

"In fact, I'll tell you everything right NOW, if you want!" he then exclaimed.

"It doesn't matter! The trials I set forth will continue! The death of the Fyrane will cause the elder mother to go on a rampage once more!" he went on. "She will rampage, people will fight back! It will be glorious!" he then announced, laughing hard.

"Soon, everyone will be what they're meant to be! Everyone will cast off the shackles and facades, and be what they are supposed to be!" he continued.

"All as long as I'm still alive! And I can NEVER die! Not even by the hands of a drow!" he then told Aedan, a sickeningly wide grin on his face.

"I hold the power of CHRONOS, HIMSELF! I AM IMMORTAL!" he practically bellowed, before falling onto his back and laughing his fool ass off.

"........." Ash was just silent, before looking at Sydney and doing a 'coo-coo' motion with his finger at the side of his head.
