more language lessons.. Lørdag = Løverdag ( old danish ) = laugardagr in oldnorse whih means bathday. aka it means a day to take a bath or get your laundry done.

no the grey on saturdays means that they are ' half off days' if I remember my dsds telling about his schooltime back i the 50's

to me the ls are in grey... but schooldays are uually monday to friday, unless youre on a private school then I know that it is counting saturday too anyway dinnertime

My husband could probably read the German to me xD he took it in college and I plan to take it at some point now that I have a language app...

Not to mention dutch would be suuuuper helpful to know when I'm watching wie es de mol and have to rely on subtitles and can't actually read the questions.

Still though, I think you do get more days off than we do. We get like no days off in October, and none in February like you do. Or if we do, it's just 1 day here and there.
