It is always good to look at black friday/ cyber monday sales. I saw someone mentioning in a sims discord I am in that they got a $800 lenevo laptop for $300.

So keep an eye on amazon, target etc for deals.

As far as graphics cards go the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 are good cards. I just looked up on amazon and the cheapest laptop right now with any of those cards is $609.99. Renewed laptop for $529.99

Secondly you need a laptop with Windows 10 64 Bit! EA is ending it's support for 32 bit!
Other things to look at in a laptop is min 6GB ram. Trust me The Sims eats ram. And internal space. The sims and it's expansions take up space. So you might not want to get a laptop that has just a 265GB SSD drive.

@Deaa: No in most cases it is not possible to upgrade the graphics card in a laptop. It is permanently attached to the motherboard.

Nah... Realm of magic is the only one left I need that was on sale. And I can't afford it right now even with the sale. I chose to see family instead.

Currently recovering from large amounts of PTSD. I'll post when I can, please ping for replies. Things are very difficult for me right now.

ahhh i wanted to get something from the sale
it just felt stupid to buy something and then not be able to play it until i get a new laptop lol
on top of that, my car broke down, so i may need to buy a new car and start making car payments
which means i can no longer afford a new couch or laptop
