Music has hardcore sucked this year, in my opinion. The only album I bought that was released this year was Ashes to New's "The Future," and I just happened to be at a Five-Finger Death Punch/Breaking Benjamin concert where they were the opening act. I'd never heard of them, but they were the best band that played that night. I kept thinking, 'They sound like Linkin Park. We have lost Linkin Park, so this could be my replacement band.' Then they actually played some Linkin Park music and said that was their favorite band and biggest influence. They were signing autographs after the concert, so I bought their CD right then and there and got the band members to all sign it.

That's it. I've literally listened to retro music all year because every time I turn the radio to a current music station, I am disgusted. lol It's been classic Aerosmith and 80s pop for me this year.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot Blackpink had a new mini-album this year. lol So I bought a Kpop CD. Just the one.
