I'd probably say Pokémon Gold. I had RBY before that, but I would always get stuck at the part to get into Saffron City. I could never figure out how to get the drink for the guards. Other than that I was always really bad about finishing games until I was a wee little tween.

Hmm If i ever beat anything before this one i don't know but the earliest game i remember playing from start to finish, not counting any online games, was probably Freddifish?
