She was silent, not entirely sure what it was that was happening before she saw his eyes seem to flicker.

"If ye ain't able to ta speak, ye cain't put me sis away." He snarled before opening his mouth, about to scream loud enough to very likely kill the pair of them.
"SHIT!" She screamed herself before he was enveloped in a solid tornado of wind, just as he screamed.
It was possible to see the blood trickling from his ears.
That scream had been trapped, neither of them had heard it.... but he'd received the full effects, considering the amplufication.

It didn't take long, the fighting, the arguments, were too loud for her, before Vicki got to her feet, grabbed the staff she'd inherited from her Aunt, and stormed out of the room. She made her way down the hall, her steps with far more force than she normally had, and to where the bulk of the fighting seemed to be coming from. It was one of the main meeting rooms nearby.
"What the bloody fuck are you all fighting about!?" she hollered into the room once she entered.
"You best have a good reason.... lest none of you have a pleasant day." She then warned.

"Ah, how?" She asked before knocking the end of the staff against the floor thrice.
"How about I just use My family's ... special mana." She then suggested, the rune spreading out far faster than anyone could have expected.
"You do realise that you all will die here, right? Or at least... consciously. You'll be just puppets, ripe for the playing." Her voice was cold, distant. She was pissed, livid, and was separating her emotions enough to be able to do this and not be an emotional wreck
Of course, that was likely the worst situation here.

Vicki just laughed. It was dark, it was foreboding.
She didn't progress with the rune thoguh. If anything, she decided she wanted to have fun with them.

Meanwhile, Vito had been nearby, trying to quell some fights, when he and the brawlers had gotten caught up in the rune.
'Oh...' he thought.

However, he noticed that the rune dissipated for mere seconds at a time, but it was a window. He needed to close his eyes, he needed to prepare, and he needed to react quickly.
He then closed his eyes, and concentrated on his soul... on the rune. He waited until he could faintly sense the rune weakening, before he started to ready his own mana. When the rune went down, he used his mana to teleport away from where he was, not knowing or caring where he would land.

Ash stood there, his hair mussed and rough, dressed only in a pair of jeans. It was clear he'd been sleeping... odds are due to returning from a particularly lengthy and difficult bounty.
He wasn't officially a bounty hunter any longer, but he still did it from time to time. But it took more out of him. He was slowly learning to that he needed to accept retirement soon.
