The stage was small, indeed, and easily moved. It had been moved over towards a shadier part of the yard, and the area where the show would go on was set up.

More children arrived until there was a total of twenty, and she was in the middle of her performance, keeping them all entertained. The agreement had been a thirty minute show, where she was captivating the entire crowd. Of course, her levitation act, and everything else, kept everyone in wonder (Adults included because of how well she could do waht she did), and as usual she went on longer. It wasn't that big of a deal, she was sure.
"All right, birthday boy, up onto the trampoline, hey?" She asked with a chuckle as she was coming to the end of it.
"Let's see. Can you get a good bounce on there?" She then asked as he crawled up. After he tested it and said it was ok, she just chuckled.
"Let's fix that! Trampolines are supposed to be fun, right?" She asked before crouching down.

Desiree paused a moment before meeting his gaze. AS she did so, some of her hair in front of her face moved. It wasn't enough to see the eye or what she kept hidden, but it was enough that Max could feel a pierce... a familiar pierce at that. He saw it any time he looked in the mirror for the longest time, until he started to wear contacts to hide it.
'Sure. Where?" She then asked, looking around. There were children still playing off to the side.
"Because.... your tone implies this isn't a conversation to hve around children."
