"I know she's already dead, but I have to admit I was a bit worried that I had killed her again." She then admitted.

"Quite a relief to know that I hadn't." She paused a moment before looking to Sharp.

". . . despite our past, and how you probably still aren't the most... mmm... enthused to see me here... thank you." She hten said.

Sharp just shook his head.

"I would be a massive hypocrite if I were to cling to the past." he said.

"Eh?" Azazel muttered.

"Ash her." Sharp said to him.

"While you are showing her around the Unit." he told him.

"Meanwhile, I'm going to go talk to Jake, let him know what happened."

Rylie nodded.

"That... is probably very true. Can't say for certain, of course." She then said.

"Beyond that, I will talk to you later, Sharp. Thank you for allowing me to stay here for now."

"Mmhmm." Sharp responded, before they all left the office.

"I'm going to see Jake." he told his secretary, before they stepped into the hall and parted ways.

"Well, then..." Azazel muttered.

"I guess I'm showing you around the Unit." he commented.

"Uh... well, I suppose I should show you where you can stay." he said. "Let you pick one of the dorms we have." he finished, still sounded a bit confused... but it was most likely due to the unclear statements about the past beforehand.

Rylie nodded.

"Certainly seems that way." She agreed with a light laugh.

"Since there's a certain degree of ..... well, this place seems interesting enough. And he agreed to help me out with replacing my bike with less trouble for me from it." She added.

"Thankfully. Last thing I need is more legal shit to come my way."

Azazel nodded in response.

"Yeah." he replied.

"The legal team here is amazing." he told her. "They can seemingly do the impossible." he said.

"So if anyone can get you your bike back, with the least amount of legal trouble, it's them." he told her.

"Right then. Hungry?" he asked.

"Because I DO know you eat, despite being a pesudo-reaper."

"But sure. I could eat." She added with a chuckle.

"Food would be wonderful actually. Been a bit since I last ate. So lead the way."

"I'll take you to the cafeteria." he told her.

"You can get ANYTHING there." he said. "And I mean it." he went on.

"You name it, they'll make it." he assured her.

"How long HAS it been, anyway?" he then asked.

'How long? Mmmmm, I guess about 2 days." Rylie answered after a moment or two.

"So I could definitely eat." She said. "Would be good TO eat, I'm sure."

"Geez... that IS a while." he said.

"But yeah, there's plenty here." he told her.

"Rooms, food, exercise, food, you name it." he said.

Rylie just laughed.

"Admittedly, not much TO judge regarding me." She then said.

"I'm normal, oir at least look it." She added with a shrug.

Time passed, and Sharp had helped with her getting a bike. At the moment, she was on her way to where the legal team had called her to, so as to get the information about where she could pick up another bike.

Thankfully.

She reached the room and knocked on the door. She had no idea WHO she was meeting, exactly, but she was definitely itching for the information.

The door was answered by a skinny male, wearing glasses.

"Ah, yes." he said.

"Come on in." he told her.

When she did, they made their way to a desk, and they sat at it. When they did, he pushed a picture of a VERY nice motorcycle towards her. One that was better than her previous... not counting the mods she had made to her old one.

"There's your new motorcycle." he said.

"We managed to get it for you with a little help from a lawyer friend of Mister Sharp's." he told her. He then slipped her a business card.

"That's the dealership where the bike is. They'll be expecting you." he told her.

"It's in the next city over, but it's the best we can do." he said further.

"We can arrange travel for you, if need be." he then finished.

Rylie was silent as she looked at the image, a bit of a stunned expression on her face.

"I... yeah. All right." She said.

"Thank you." She said before shaking her head slightly and meeting his gaze again.

"Transportation? I think I'll be good." She assured him.

"The bike isn't my only mod of transport. Just my preferred."She then said with a light laugh.

"Do I need to sign anything?"

"Just when you get back." he replied.

"Essentially, the deal is closed and you are satisfied with the outcome." he told her.

"Beyond that, no. Not right now." he said.

"Go on and get your bike." he told her with a smile.

"See you when you get back."

Rylie nodded.

"Gotcha. I'll probably be back either late tonight, or tomorrow." She said.

"Likely come knocking tomorrow, since by late, I mean after midnight." She added.

"Thanks again." she said with a wave and heading off. She had a bike to pick up, after all.

On the way outside, she waved to Jake, even though she realized he didn't like her. Once outside, she whistled, causing her ghostly steed to catch up to her.

"You... are going to be perfect for getting to where I'm going." She said with a light laugh before climbing up atop the horse.

"Let's go!" She said with a bit of a cheer before the horse took off with her.

She was riding for a couple hours, although it seemed like hardly any time had gone by, before she arrived at the place she'd been intending to be.

She looked around. She had her bike, her steed was gone, and it was pretty late. She'd parked somewhere and gone to get a bite to eat. Now she was on her way back to her bike, walking through the city, the aleys, to the parking lot she'd left it in.

As she walked past an alley, she swore she heard panicked footsteps.

However, she didn't have time to react, as someone slammed into her. Literally.

"AGH!" the male exclaimed, as the both of them fell to the ground.

He then noticed that there seemed to be a ribbon stuck in his hair... and he heard something roll off.

"Crap, crap, crap!" he cursed.

"Sorry! I'm sorry!" he exclaimed.

"It's all right." Rylie said, having just sighed before he'd said anything.

"All good. Just continue on, no issues." She then said with a light chuckle as he felt the person he'd run into getting to their feet and seeming to be looking for something.

"That thing over there is useless. Mind passing me over?" She then asked.

"Because really? It can't navigate well at all. Kinda happens when your brain is elsewhere." She added with a laugh.

The man looked at where her head was, before he gingerly picked her up, and handed her to her body. Once her head was in her hands, she looked at him.

And she saw that the ribbon that kept her head on was in his hair.

Or rather, in a snake's mouth.

"Hey." the man said.

"Helena. Let go." he told the snake, grabbing the ribbon. "Leggo. Not yours. Drop it!" he ordered, as though disciplining a pet or child.
