Yes they are! My grandparents have a few bushes of them and I'd pick them each summer when we went to visit!
Then eat them after picking them straight from the bush, lol.

My mom used to pick fruit every other day because she lived on a farm and right across from her were grape Vines and bushes with fruit growing from them.
