@dragon I'm sorry to hear that. When I was working retail I would still be a bit happy it was the weekend, but not the same as when I was in school, or not that I finally have an office job. XD I'm 26 with 4 years of college, and finally someone trusted me enough to have an office job. Even though it's just easy stuff. I hate it that people don't see retail as a 'real job' F those people.

@Totalanimefan: well that is very good to try and space things out it's really not good to finish everything up and not have anything to do, then you have to find something else to do, or they will be expecting you to be quick at everything that you do at your job which might get you over worked if they expect you to do more.

@dragon It's really hard. Even though the economy is good, people will just write others off if they have only retail. It's really annoying. How I broke through was by being a temp. That might work for you?
@Unicorn: Yeah I see other people also looking at the news and things like that at work. I have an ok amount of work, but it's good that it's not just piling up.

@dragon I am no intern. XD Temp just is where I do a job and once the job is finished I'm done, and the work isn't always regular. Sometimes you have an assignment for months and sometimes it's just one night working at a museum. The pay is about a $1-3 less an hour for me then if I actually worked at the place. Still more than retail ever paid.

@Unicorn: My last job was like that. You would work your butt off, but the work just kept piling on. We were two weeks behind with billing. It was soo crazy.
