And I'm looking at banjos. I've always kinda wanted to learn how to play and I've always enjoyed the sound of them. I particularly fell in love with then after listening to this.

Well it could certainly be worse. xD As others have said, maybe you should go for it! O: it could be a cool little hobby and who knows, maybe you're a natural. It is a bit harder to play on account of only having three strings but I'm sure you could pick it up. c:

@Glume: Oh god I'm looking at banjos. They're anywhere between $300 - $1,000 and from what I read Deering is one of the best brands.

@nyreen: I suggest calling your local thrift stores or pawn shops and letting them know you're interested in one. Get a cheap one for practice and fun, then when you know you're serious you can dump several hundreds of dollars on it <3

@Tuijp: honestly tempted to shop there but also super parnaoid. I found a recently priced one, closed back and 6 string for $340. It has 4.1 stats and 150 reviews on Amazon. boop
