A little different but, an old friend of mine once held an art 'fight club' on gaia. They did a competition type event where people got to enter characters and every round you'd be paired off against another character. You both had to draw a comic/art of your characters fighting and whoever got the most votes at the end of the round went onto the nex. It was a lot of fun even though a lot of people dropped out... I made it to the finals despite my art sucking. c; (everyone loved my character I guess)
I'm interested in possibly holding a tournament event like that someday on here, not sure if it would be fighting though...
