DC and America in general really needs better flood mitigation and prevention measures

And holy heck, that video... I wouldn't get anywhere near that glass with that much water outside it. The pressure is enormous and I'd be afraid not only of the water suddenly pouring in, but the shards of glass swirling around in it!
