I had a Dr appt this morning and FINALLY got my nexplanon birth control implant removed. The numbing stuff they used made me super tired?? idk if that's normal, but all medicines make me tired so
I'm sluggish today

but hey, I've been trying to get rid of this thing since like November or December
so yaaaayy i don't need to see doctors anymore

Should they keep it on display...

oh yeah numbing things, especially for surgeries, tend to make ya tired. it is probably partially because of the surgery itself too. my mom is on a pain killer for her back tho and she can't drive when she takes it because it knocks her out FAST.

but congrats on both the surgery and having a cool boss.

Ahh, I remember hearing about those; I think they're moving on to a localized patch that people can stick on themselves. The commercial for it is ludicrous.

I have the Mirena, which is theoretically good for another two years. Hopefully the governor doesn't pass a law against birth control procedures and access in the meantime. //rolls her eyes
