2: The world is modern fantasy.
3: The two people she normally works with (Jake and Matt) don't really have complete designs. HOWEVER Matt kinda does? He doesn't have a profile yet.

4: Almost anyone in the 'Unit' category is totally viable. If there's anyone you *want* to do a thing with her + them, lemm eknow and I can give you more information on their relationship =)
5: Where they work is... hmmm.... the best way to sum it up is that they are a shadow branch of the government. They take care of things in the dark. 'Just because you don't believe in the boogeyman, doesn't mean he doesn't believe in you' kinda thing. They take care of the non-human threads. Mages (less so, but still), elves, demons, vampires, lycans, etc.

HOWEVER
Rylie isn't at all involved with Izzy (Izea, not Iskea). It's Lunet.
Lunet is the one who created it, she's the techy in charged. Rylie is just a mechanic. Like... cars, motorbikes, etc. XD
As for your inquiry, I haven't designed the uniforms yet! But yes. Security DOES have uniforms. I'm thinkiing stylish though, as they work with Desiree's company she inherited... which is a masive ass fashion brand, lol.

And yes. She can. Her optic nerves are perfectly fine. It's her eyes that are the issue, lol.
So connecting to the nerves allows the cameras build into the visor to be able to transmit colour to her, so she can see it =)
