@Amber Lynne: It was, but it was tiring. It was the first time we met for this purpose, so it was interesting on a number of levels. She is young, but has some talent and some basic understanding of things... and of course, is pursuing the anime/manga style. I'm a more old-school traditional artist, so I can definitely help her out, if I can keep her on track to learn some of the basics and structural things she needs to know -but doesn't realize she needs to know- in order to really push her art.

@Amber Lynne: exactly. So many people, it seems, just "draw" but they don't really understand what they're drawing or how to do what they're trying to do and unless you understand those structures, you can wing it to a certain level, but not really go beyond it... A lot of her questions were on proportions for hands, faces, etc., and shading... but she's imagining a light source instead of actually looking... so guess what we're going to do next time?! XD

Like I spend 11 hours talking to customers so when I come home, I just wanna zone out or do something quiet

@Totalanimefan: Apparently my new hair shading method. I think it's gonna mix much better with my softer shading
