I do try. I really want him to be kind and understanding to others.
So we do our best to share and be helpful. Show by example.
Like school supplies, we always get an extra set of everything. Just in case another kid needs it.
And he gets to help turn it into the teacher in private; which makes him feel happy getting to help. *^*

I don't know anyone else who does that. I've known people to do the extra lunch for others sometimes, but supplies is a new one. That's awesome~<3

@Amber Lynne: I don't think we're the only ones who do?
(here at least, cause our community is huge on helping others)
I know we have shoe and coat drives. And a large portion of school supplies is donated.
So most parents only need to get the bare minimum. *^*
And many donate for the school lunches so it's not so expensive or pays for the majority.
Then whenever the teachers need something they'll post it for donations.
Like snacks and stuff! Or even learning toys.
We even have a few from different churches that'll randomly buy your groceries at the store.
(They scared the heck out of me when they bought mine! I felt sooo bad, like I stole it. XD)

Yeah, I really like seeing how many help out here!
Like if something major happens, they'll do a donation run to help anyone.
(like medical payments or if a fire destroys a house)
I can 100% say that I haven't seen such a tightknit community before. *^*
Even my hometown wasn't like this.
