@Purpsy: Congrats on that. I was on a bus for an hour and about 40 mins in I felt a bit motion sick. That part sucked lol. But other than that it was ok.

@Rei Ann: It was something. Got motion sick on the bus. Wasn't actually sick, but just felt like shit during and after.
The rest was ok. I'm pretty tired atm.

I was able to rest, but when I was at the store that took an hour to get to on the bus I just wished I was home lol
For the way back, I got a Lyft. lol

So anyway, my roommate's been sick with a nasty sore throat for a couple days now, and I seem to be developing a little cough myself. Though I think I'd rather have a cough than a sore throat. I have to wonder if we have the same thing with different symptoms. Wheeeee.

@Kory: No, except to say it's not strep--they swabbed for that. Basically they said it's either a cold or covid, which like, gee, thanks for narrowing it down. But they didn't test for covid; they said something about it being too soon to test for it? Which sounds like bs to me tbh. They're going to check in with her on Monday to see how she's feeling.

@CooperationIsKey: from everything I've heard, read, or experienced, it takes about 3-4 days of being sick for the covid tests to be able to report - it just takes that much time for the 'gunk' to build up enough to be caught on the q-tip, etc., ... blah, blah, blah. As I'm sure you know, sore throat and cough are both potential signs of covid ... but they're also indications of a gazillion other viruses. Good luck to the both of you. :3
