Snow is the only thing I don't miss about living in the Midwest. I hated shoveling it. I hated walking in it. I never drove in it, more so because of my anxiety...
@PrincessStarr: Luckily I live in a place where I don't have to drive, but I did have a rental car this weekend. So that was stressful. Shoving it must get old too. It doesn't snow that many inches near me, so I'm hoping that salting the sidewalk will be mostly good enough and then just shovel once a day.

@Totalanimefan: yeah I do. I think it looks pretty when it's fresh, and I love the crunchy sound it makes when you walk on it.
@Totalanimefan: Lucky. When we lived in Wisconsin there was always that chance of being snowed in, or it being too cold out. And snow gets heavy if you don't keep up with it. One year I went to walk out of the house to go to the store, the snow was up to my butt. It sucked.
@sunny: I love that sound. I even said to my husband today how nice that sound is.

@Totalanimefan: That always depended. Now on the ultra cold days, where it was -30 everything is shut down. They'll cancel for blizzards. Now if it stops and there's a chance they can clear the roads you're allowed to be late, or you can just call out completely.
@PrincessStarr: Oh I see. That sounds stressful. Also what is the difference between a winter storm and a blizzard?
@Totalanimefan: The amount of snow. Usually a blizzard drops more and lasts longer than a storm does.

@Ava: probably for you this isn’t a good snow storm but it is for this area. It’s still snowing today.
@koneko: I heard your area is going to get a lot. We will probably only get like 5 inches in total which is kinda crazy because in the beginning we got 2 inches right away and then it’s been light or with rain. It’s properly snowing again.
