I have watched tutorials and tried learning everything about digital painting

like one of wlop's or jyundee's?? their style is just so pretty, i was thinking maybe , what if i just copy every step they do as an exercise...??

yeah for art stuff sometimes u just gotta keep going / get thru for it to start shaping up and looking good :0 i think especially so for painting
i think w my process , a lot of the impact comes from the last phase , i like to do a lot of color and contrast adjustments and i think it makes a big diff (and it's also v fun for me / my favorite part lol) - but in order to get there i have to finish painting everything else first lol and oftentimes i'm like oh this looks bad i wanna give up ....

because the main focus of a study is not to get it exactly like the picture
but to learn from it.
If you learn from it, then it was a good study in my book.

idk maybe there's a faster way to do it though? i just find coloring flats to be a bit tedious, but i'm also manually/hand coloring ..... sometimes i color the outline, fill w bucket tool, then color the weird border edges
i know some ppl will lasso tool + fill for coloring though, maybe i need to experiment more w process?
